Alexey Polatinskiy

Lieutenant Colonel Polatinsky, as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, bears direct responsibility for the planning and coordination of combat operations of the unit, which participated in the occupation of Kherson Oblast and suffered significant losses. The brigade actively employed "meat assault" tactics, resulting in the defeat of subordinate units and mass casualties among personnel, particularly during the Ukrainian counteroffensives in the Kherson direction in 2022 and in the Krynky area in 2023–2024. His command role also entails responsibility for war crimes, including the shelling of civilian targets and looting committed by subordinates in the occupied territories.
