In short: we count visits and clicks to understand what people read and what's broken on the site. We do not sell or share this data with third parties, and we do not link it to a visitor's identity.
The site uses three independent analytics tools: Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics 4, and Plausible. Each records standard technical visit data — which pages were opened, where the visit came from, device and browser type, and an approximate region based on IP address. The IP address itself is never published or matched to a name or other personal data.
Yandex.Metrica additionally has Webvisor enabled — a recording of cursor movement, scrolling, and clicks on the page. This is used to find broken buttons and confusing parts of the interface. Webvisor cannot see the contents of the feedback form or Telegram bot conversations — those channels operate separately from analytics and are described below.
Messages sent through the "Feedback" page and through the Telegram bot go directly to the editorial team over a separate, protected channel and do not pass through Yandex.Metrica, GA4, or Plausible. You do not need to provide your name or other details in these messages.
The analytics tools set technical cookies to distinguish a new visit from a returning one (for example, _ym_uid, _ga). We do not use them for advertising and do not share data with ad networks.
You can disable tracking with an ad/tracker blocker (uBlock Origin, AdGuard, and similar tools block all three counters by default), your browser's "Do Not Track" mode, or the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
