Chalov Nikita Yurevich

Chalov Nikita Yurevich is a Lance Corporal, Deputy Commander of a Combat Vehicle – Gunner-Operator of the 1st Battalion Tactical Group – military unit 32515 – of the 104th Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Air Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. According to open registries, he took direct part in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.

He is implicated in the shooting of civilian vehicles in Bucha, Kyiv region.

On March 5, 2022, in the city of Bucha, Chalov Nikita, being the Deputy Commander of a Combat Vehicle – Gunner-Operator of a BMD-2, intentionally, by prior conspiracy with a still unidentified commander and other servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, fired from a 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannon at two civilian vehicles, which seven Ukrainian civilians, including two young children, were attempting to use to evacuate from the combat zone.

As a result of the shelling, four Ukrainian civilians were killed, two of whom were children aged 4 and 9. Three more people were wounded.

On March 5, 2022, in the city of Bucha, Kyiv Oblast, Corporal Nikita Yuryevich Chalov, serving as deputy combat vehicle commander and gunner-operator of a BMD-2 of the 1st Battalion Tactical Group, Military Unit 32515, 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment, 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the Russian Airborne Forces, acting intentionally and in prior conspiracy with other servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, opened fire on two civilian vehicles using a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon. As a result of this war crime, four Ukrainian civilians were killed, including two children aged 4 and 9, and three others were wounded. These actions are classified as a direct violation of the laws and customs of war directed against the civilian population.
