According to open registries, while serving as commander of the small missile ship 'Vyshny Volochyok' of the 41st Missile Ship Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy of the Russian Armed Forces, and also previously holding the position of commander of the small missile ship 'Orekhovo-Zuyevo', he directly commanded the crews of small missile ships, planning, organizing, and directing their combat deployment.
