The 336th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade (military unit 06017) is a Baltic naval infantry brigade whose battalions (877th, 878th, 879th, 887th, etc.) operate in the Special Military Operation zone; in June 2025, its joint offensive with the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade was recorded, and in late 2025, the formation was reorganized into a division. The 336th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of the Baltic Fleet is one of the oldest naval infantry formations of the Russian Federation, with its headquarters and main battalions based in Baltiysk. According to media reports, on June 13, 2025, assault units of the 336th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade, together with the 37th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, liberated one of the settlements on the front. In December 2025, the brigade was reorganized into the 120th Guards Naval Infantry Division of the Baltic Fleet.
