The 80th Separate Motorized Rifle (Arctic) Brigade (military unit 34667) was formed on December 31, 2014, by presidential decree to ensure military presence in the Arctic Zone and, according to open data, is organizationally part of the Joint Strategic Command 'Northern Fleet,' not the Pacific Fleet — this should be cross-referenced with the database entry. The brigade is equipped with Arctic vehicles (MT-LBVMK, DT-30 tractors, A-1 and TTM-1901 'Berkut' snowmobiles) for operations in the Far North, and part of its personnel in 2015 came from the 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade (Pechenga).
