The 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment, operating Su-30SMs, is based at Khalino airfield near Kursk and is used for KAB (guided aerial bomb) strikes on Ukrainian territory, due to which the airfield has repeatedly been subjected to Ukrainian drone attacks in 2022–2023. There is no data on specific aircraft losses of the regiment in open sources.

The 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (military unit 45119), operating Su-30SMs, is part of the 105th Composite Aviation Division of the 6th Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Western Military District and is based at Khalino airfield near Kursk — one of the closest to the border with Ukraine. This is why the airfield has repeatedly been the target of Ukrainian drone strikes: a fire at a fuel depot in December 2022, an attack by 16 UAVs in August 2023. The regiment is capable of carrying KAB (guided aerial bombs) with a range of over 25 km, making it a significant element of the air offensive against Ukraine. No confirmed data on destroyed aircraft of the regiment itself (as opposed to the airfield infrastructure) has been found in open sources.
