The 10th GRU Special Purpose Brigade (Molkino) is one of the most experienced Russian special forces units, operating in Crimea in 2014 and in Syria from 2015–2022. Since 2022, its groups have fought near Izium and in the Kherson direction; precise data on the brigade's losses have not been independently confirmed.

The 10th Separate GRU Special Purpose Brigade was re-established in 2002–2003; in 2014, its servicemen participated in the operation to establish control over Crimea ('polite people'), and from 2015 to 2022, the brigade was involved in Russia's military operation in Syria. Since February 2022, units of the brigade have engaged in battles with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Izium area of Kharkiv Oblast, later operating in the Kherson direction on the left bank of the Dnieper as part of the 'Dnepr' group of forces.
