The 9th Guards Separate Mariupol-Khingan Motorized Rifle Brigade (military unit 71443) is a unit that grew out of pro-Russian DPR formations from 2014–2015 and was officially included in the Russian Armed Forces in 2023. Since August 2024, it has been part of the renamed 51st Guards Combined Arms Army (formerly the 1st Army Corps, then the 8th Army of the Southern Military District); in 2024–2025, it was mentioned in the context of battles in the Pokrovsk direction.

The brigade was formed in early 2023 by transforming the 9th Guards Separate Mariupol-Khingan Special Naval Infantry Regiment of the "DPR People's Militia". It operates as part of the "Center" and "South" troop groupings; according to Russian statements, servicemen of the brigade participated in the capture of 21 settlements, over 2500 were awarded, and three were honored with the title Hero of Russia — these figures originate from the Russian side and have not been independently verified.
