The 4th Motorized Rifle Brigade (listed as military unit 74347, now military unit 40318) is a former "LPR" formation, integrated into the Russian Armed Forces at the end of 2022, and has passed through some of the bloodiest sectors of the front — Lysychansk, Kreminna, Klishchiivka, and Chasiv Yar; in May 2023, the brigade lost its commander. Note: the current unit number (military unit 40318) differs from military unit 74347 indicated in the card — this is the old number used before subordination to Russia at the end of 2022.

The 4th Separate (Guards since 2022) Motorized Rifle Brigade named after George the Victorious was formally part of the so-called "LPR People's Militia" until 2022, officially joining the Russian Armed Forces at the end of 2022, with its unit number changing from military unit 74347 to military unit 40318. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the brigade fought in the area of Novotoshkivske and other settlements south of Lysychansk, then in the Kreminna direction. In May 2023, the brigade commander, Colonel Vyacheslav Makarov, was killed in battles in the Soledar-Artemivsk direction. In July–October 2023, the brigade held the front near Klishchiivka, and in 2024, it participated in battles in the Chasiv Yar area.
