The 60th Command and Control Brigade provides critical communications and command for the 1st Guards Tank Army. The brigade directly facilitated the army’s offensive operations in Ukraine, including the initial invasion of Kyiv Oblast (the Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, and Chernihiv areas) in February–March 2022, as well as subsequent operations in Kharkiv Oblast. By ensuring stable command and control, the brigade contributed to the execution of military orders, including those that led to indiscriminate shelling of civilian infrastructure and other war crimes committed by units of the 1st Guards Tank Army. Its role is an integral part of the overall military aggression.
