According to open registry data, he took direct part in Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
He violated the laws and customs of war in the village of Yahidne, Chernihiv Raion, Chernihiv Oblast. Together with other Russian Armed Forces servicemen, during March 2022, he forcibly held 347 civilians, including 77 children, in inhumane conditions in a school basement. Due to inhumane and cruel treatment, 10 civilians died.
By verdict of the Chernihiv Raion Court dated March 11, 2024, he was found guilty of violating the laws and customs of war, including intentional murder.
