According to the open register, while serving as navigator (of the aircraft) of an aviation detachment of the aviation squadron of the 44th Separate Special Purpose Aviation Regiment of the Long-Range Aviation of the Air Force of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, he personally participated in combat sorties, responsible for navigation and combat application of weaponry.

There are reasonable grounds to believe that this person is involved in the direct execution of a criminal order on May 8, 2024, by guiding and launching a Kinzhal aeroballistic missile at the Volytsko-Uherske underground gas storage facility in Stryi, Lviv Oblast.

This facility belongs to critical civilian energy infrastructure and is not a military target, and the strike on it aimed to undermine energy security and create a man-made disaster. The aforementioned actions are an integral part of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and simultaneously contain signs of violations of the laws and customs of war.

Furthermore, this person did not exercise the right to refuse to carry out a clearly criminal order, the non-execution of which is stipulated by norms of international law, thereby becoming a direct perpetrator and accomplice to the crime.
