Aleksandr Beglov is a Russian politician who has served as Governor of St. Petersburg since 2019. Previously, he held the position of Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central (2012–2017) and Northwestern (2017–2018) Federal Districts, and also served as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration (2008–2012).
He is a key figure in the administration of Russia's second-largest city.
