Korovin Yuriy Alekseevich is a Lieutenant Colonel, Deputy Regiment Commander for Flight Training — military unit 85927 — 121st Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of Long-Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

According to open registries, while serving as Deputy Regiment Commander for Flight Training, and previously as commander of an aviation squadron (on Tu-95MS aircraft) of the 121st Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of Long-Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, he was responsible for the professional training of flight personnel and personally participated in combat sorties from the first day of the full-scale invasion.

There are reasonable grounds to believe that this individual is involved in the direct execution of criminal orders to launch missile strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine, specifically participating in combat sorties on the days of missile strikes on the oil depot and airfield in Vasylkiv, Vinnytsia airport, Kyiv TV tower, Darnytsia Car Repair Plant, Alfavito Hotel, and the historical center of Kyiv.

Furthermore, he participated in strikes on energy infrastructure facilities in many regions. These actions aimed to intimidate the population, destroy civilian infrastructure, and create man-made disasters, which led to numerous civilian casualties and large-scale destruction.

These actions are an integral part of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and simultaneously contain signs of grave violations of the laws and customs of war.

In addition, the individual did not exercise the right to refuse to carry out a clearly criminal order, the obligation not to execute which is stipulated by international law, thus becoming a direct perpetrator and accomplice to the crime.
