On March 16, 2022, Russian Armed Forces serviceman Grinenko Denis, by order of Russian Armed Forces Captain Gorelov Aleksey, together with other servicemen of the 2nd self-propelled artillery battery of the 2nd Air Assault Battalion of the 2nd BTG of the 234th Air Assault Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, brutally beat a civilian citizen of Ukraine in the city of Bucha.
After the beating, the Russian Armed Forces servicemen shot the victim by order of Russian Armed Forces Captain Gorelov Aleksey. According to eyewitnesses, the Ukrainian citizen vainly begged the Russian Armed Forces servicemen to spare his life.
